Dr Mohd Khaidir Bin Abu Talib
Dr Mohd Khaidir Bin Abu Talib has obtained his Diploma from Politeknik Port Dickson in 2003. He further his bachelor and master study in civil engineering at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) from 2005-2010. He is a member to Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM) since 2009. He started his career as a site engineer at Iz-An Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd after graduating from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2010.
Then in 2011, he joined Universiti Institut Teknologi Mara (UiTM) as a temporary lecturer in Transportation Engineering. In the same year, he got an offer from Universiti Tun Husessein Onn Malysia (UTHM) as a tutor in Department of Infrastructure and Geomatic. In 2012, he pursue his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) study at Kyushu University, Japan specifically in Geotechnical Engineering and back for services to UTHM in 2016 as a lecturer. In the academics, his interest revolves soil improvement (soft soil, peat and organic soil engineering), sustainable materials in soil stabilization, engineering geology and geophysics application in geotechnical engineering. His work has appeared in some academic journals and has published several indexed journals and conference papers. He is also appointed as an editor and reviewer by several International ISI and Scopus Indexed Journals. He is also appointed as researcher in Research Centre of Soft Soil (RECESS) at UTHM since 2016 to date.
Currently, he is the head of panel in Department of Postgraduate Studies, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Built Environment, UTHM.
