March 27, 2022. RECESS together with the Sulong Trench Gallery, Batu Pahat History Society and the local community welcome the arrival of the Australian Army to the Sulong Trench. Perhaps not many people know that the Muar-Bakri-Ayer Hitam-Parit Sulong line holds the great history of the 2nd World War called the 'Battle of Muar'. The Living Lab Muar team will collaborate with the RICHER program, UTHM to share this story around May 2022 at UTHM. Let's participate! It was also very fortunate to meet Major Gray, WO2 Paul Knapp who is also the author of the book "BATTLEFIELD STUDY GUIDE, Malaya Campaign 1941-42" and their team who visited the location of the bloody tragedy involving the Australian armed forces on 22 January 1942. They are excited to learn about the collaboration between UTHM and the local community and are interested in making it a success together! Thanks also for the donated books!
