Forest Biological Diversity Scientific Expedition Seminar, Utara Ayer Hitam State Park Forest

09 August 2022 - Inauguration Ceremony of the Forest Biological Diversity Scientific Expedition Seminar, Ayer Hitam Utara State Forest located in Muar Traders, Johor. This two-day seminar was attended by two main RECESS researchers, namely Prof. Assoc. Ts. Ir. Dr. Adnan Bin Zainorabidin and Dr. Faizal Tajul Bin Baharuddin have presented presentation papers in this seminar. This expedition seminar is a continuation of the Forest Biodiversity Scientific Expedition, Ayer Hitam Utara State Park Forest which was held on 14-18 April 2019 at Ayer Hitam Utara Forest Reserve. This seminar aims to collect and document the results of the study and also present a resolution for the direction of the North Ayer Hitam State Park, Muar.

In this event, the Johor State Peat Swamp Forest Management Plan Book 2023-2032 was also launched as well as the signing of the Letter of Intent for collaboration for development and research in the North Ayer Hitam State Forest, Muar between JPNJ and UTHM. The signing ceremony was represented by the Johor State Forestry Director, YBhg Dato Hj Salim Bin Aman and on the UTHM side was represented by the Director of the Institute of Integration Engineering, YBhg Prof. Dr. Nafarizal Bin Mohd Nayan.
